About Us

We specialise in helping busy people improve their shape, fitness, mobility and strength, without the need for joining a large gym, overly restrictive diets or exercising without variety.

Meet Corin Pegden

Meet Corin Pegden: a certified Personal Trainer with well over 30 years of coaching & training experience.

He offers bespoke fitness plans through one-to-one training and is the owner and instructor at Surrey Karate Ltd.

Having been born in & always lived in Alton (GU34), Corin understands local fitness needs and gaps across the community, which is why he created the bespoke gym in Alton in 2017.

He is a qualified Level 3 PT, 5th Dan (Shidōin) karate instructor with Enhanced DBS, 1st Aid and Security Clearance.

Meet George Pegden

George started his own fitness training in his early teens, before deciding to go into personal training more formally in 2018. He has sport and fitness in his genes…one grandfather was a Head PE teacher and the other a professional footballer!

George specialises in strength and conditioning – helping people develop better physiques, become stronger and reshape their body aesthetically.
He also works in commercial gyms in Alton as a Personal Trainer and his training programmes utilise various free and fixed weights alongside other resistance equipment.
He is also a qualified Nutritionist and can help supplement his gym sessions in Alton, with dietary advise and support.
George is a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 4 Nutrition and Level 2 Gym Instructor and is fully insured.

Our gym is unique and the inside and outside areas both created to provide a range of workout options, that a large franchise cannot offer. The small but committed coaching team understands that every client has a unique set of experiences, insecurities and objectives and we encourage you to share those with us! We see our clients as part of our team, not as customers and at Pedgens PT & Fitness, we will listen and do whatever we can to help you in your journey to improving your fitness.

We are all humans and all of us, even as trainers, know how easy it is to put off your fitness goals. There are so many other things to do in life, so staying consistent with your exercise habits and achieving the weight loss, strength improvement, or cardiovascular health results you want, can sometimes seem impossible. That’s why we always approach our clients with compassion, not judgement. We want to empower you to do the best you can do with what you’ve got; that means consistent encouragement, varied routines and expert training.

Gaining physical strength and improving your stamina isn’t just about a bikini or gym body – although that’s a great goal too – it is also about prolonging your life and making you feel better.
