MartinMartin started training with us in early 2023.
By his own admission, Martin was several stone overweight, not exercising and eating the wrong things. He was out of breath when walking a few steps and knew he had to change things. Pegden PT & Fitness put him on a program that gradually built up his cardio endurance, helped him make small but effective changes to his diet and then began adding weights with strength and conditioning. Martin had a surprisingly strong core and could plank for around a minute, which a year later became over 3 minutes. His determination to push forward in twice weekly sessions, means he can now lift really impressive loads, box for 3 minute rounds and has lost over 3 stone in weight! Well done to Martin, who is always smiling, always working hard and has got his health back on track. |
